Save with Amazon Pantry

Amazon Pantry

I have been an Amazon Prime member for a while. I am very pleased with it, but you have to weigh the pros and cons to see if it will benefit you. I order a lot of things online. For me, this has been a great plus. I would have paid more over the years for shipping if I did not have the Amazon Prime membership. Now, that brings me to another point.

Even though I have been an Amazon Prime membership for a while, I have never tried some of the other benefits that Amazon offers. I decided I would give Amazon Pantry a try. I thought to myself, it can’t hurt… I will be ordering items that I usually get from the grocery store after all. I like to comparison shop so I can get the best bang for my buck. I am all about saving when and where I can.

I made a list of items that I needed to get… things that I get at Kroger or Publix. I headed over to Amazon and clicked on Pantry. Here is a list of items that I wanted to get :

I decided to order multiples of the items so that I could make an order that would last me about 4 weeks. I compared the pricing to Kroger and Publix and found that I could save quite a bit using the Prime Pantry. The bonus was since my order was over $35, shipping was free.

The only con that I can see with Amazon Pantry, is that you do have to plan a few days ahead for your items since it takes a few days for them to be delivered. Compared to my savings, it is certainly worth the effort to order a few days ahead before I run out.  The variety of items that are available to order is excellent. I highly recommend using this service. As I said before, I love to save where I can and this definitely fits the bill!

As always, I welcome any comments and recommendations or questions that you may have. We can all benefit, if we work together.
